Hello Awesome Bakers!
Hospice Awareness Week is coming up in May which means lots of great events to help raise awareness of the amazing work the Hospices do.
In preparation for this, and because we have such amazing bakers on the team, the lovely folks at the North Shore Hospice and Mercy Hospice have asked for our baking help! There are 3 events coming up (more details below) please let us know if you are able to help with one or even more.
1. North Shore Hospice Peace and Plenty Open Home Thursday 21 May
Once again, the Victorian B&B in Devonport is opening its doors to the public. People purchase tickets to visit the beautifully decorated interior, wonder through the beautiful gardens and stop and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere with a morning or afternoon tea. All money raised is donated back to the North Shore Hospice.
North Shore Hospice helps out with the morning and afternoon teas. Would some of our wonderful Baking for Hospice team might be interested in helping with the morning & afternoon tea?? The Hospice are looking for slices and cakes that can be served with a cup of tea and coffee. If anyone is interested in helping out, please give the lovely Carol a call on 09 486 1688 or email on carol.herbert@hospicenorthshore.org.nz so we can talk about timing, etc – or you could drop something off the day before (20th May).
