Hello Bakers!

Here is the Wrap Up from our last round, the Autumn Round!  We had such gorgeous and creative fall themed and non themed baking.  Seemed like just what the Hospices needed for the last couple of months with the busy Appeal month having come round in May. You can still get involved by hosting your own Hospice Cuppa event!

Welcome

We’ve had a lot of lovely people joining us in the last little bit, some even helping out with the Hospice Appeal events straight after joining so a MASSIVE welcome on board to Alice, Rosanne, Anna, Suzanne, Margaret, Jo, Ashley, Karyn, Christina, Nicola, Melanie, Alison, Emma, Lauren, Portia, Joanne, Julie, Jacinda, Lene, Elizabeth, Emma, Charmaine, Kirsty and Hollie!

 

Next Round – Round 32 – Sun 6 July

Our next round is due in June but because of flights being crazy full in June we’ve pushed the round back to Sunday 6 July.  Hope that’s ok!

I’ll send out a drop off timetable in the next week or two but in the meantime send me in some suggestions for a theme! So far we have had a suggesting for hearts, or USA theme or winter?  To help get your creative mojo going here are some interesting facts about the date 6 July:

• On 6 July 1957 John Lennon and Paul McCartney meet for the first time, as teenagers at Woolton Fete, 3 years before forming the Beatles.
• Frida Kahlo was born on 6 July 1907 and the 14th Dalai Lama born in 1935.
• They also share a birthday with Sylvester Stallone, Jennifer Saunders and 5o cent.
