Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas Bakers!
First I would like to relay a message from Gisela, the Housekeeping Manager at the NS Hospice:
Thank you so much for all the wonderful baking. It certainly lifted the spirit of all of us. We put a note on the morning tea table telling everyone that the yummy food came from you and your ”elfs” Please tell your team how very much we always appreciate your baking and all the effort you put into collating at all
It really does makes such a big difference to all the folks at the hospice and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for being part of this. It is because of you that Baking for Hospice has become such a humungous success.
As for the menu this round… well we had gingerbread and shortbread and cupcakes oh my!
And a special thank you to Diana, Philippa, Danielle and Kathryn for giving up their time and houses to be drop off points for us all and putting up with me running late! It is really really appreciated…you are all angels 🙂
Thanks again for all your hard work this year, bakers. Can’t believe its been a whole year since our very first Baking for Hospice! Hope there are many more years to come! 🙂
The joy of brightening other lives, bearing each others’ burdens, easing other’s loads and supplanting empty hearts and lives with generous gifts becomes for us the magic of Christmas. W. C. Jones
I hope everyone has a very merry Christmas and a happy sunny new year!
The next Baking for Hospice will be in February – I will put up more details in the new year.
See you all in 2010!!
